ok ok... this is a post dedicated especially to the whole of Ratu Wedding clan!
Told you i'm sooo gonna write a really long blog-post kan? =)

(Warning: i will frequently use this particular word throughout the whole post. Guess which one.) =)

My Henna Mehndi: Done by Kak Rita
even tho it was 'the-basic-one-which-comes-with-the-package'. it was elaborate & painstakingly done. the redness was just rite, not tooo dark and definitely not too orange. Our mini chit-chat session was fun cos it made the whole procedure seem fast. too fast if i may add.

My flower arrangement in my room: Done by Kak Yatee.
Luckily Mrs Muli-Tasker ni kan is an all rounder. Make up bole, deco bole. cocok-cocok bunga pun bole. mana bole dapat? The lilies. wow. baunya, tak bole angkat!
saya suker.

The Gubahans For my Beloved: Done by Kak Rita
i told Kak Rita i nak the theme colours to be Brown, gold & cream. ANd gave her the free reign to do anyway she wants it. and guess what. it turns out beautiful and beyond expectation. He likes the colour theme which suited his deco. But of course he luvs the item on the gubahan itself. haha!

My bedroom deco: done by Ella & Hamad. with some help frm Kak Yatee, Kak Rita & Co.
i Suker banget.definitely up to my expectation. the canopy, the ribbons and most definitely, my bulu-bulu's.
when i finally saw how my room was redecorated within ur charming hands, i was sooo extremely awed. cos it's exactly how i pictured. The faux-feathers re-created my version of cloud nine.

The Void deck Deco: Done by the whole RW Clan.
They only had less than day to transform the whole void deck since they all just came back from a short retreat. They had a few setbacks tho'. Like a crazy woman kicking around their stuff, complaining cos they said there was obstruction on the passageway la, bising la. all dat crap. luckily i was around. kalau tidak, siap dia! =) they even stayed till 4am just to perfect the whole set-up cos there was a power trip in the early morning!
But guess wat. All their efforts paid off! Everybody commented on the whole deco and event comparing to another famous but Over-the-top bridal co. Tersenyum lebar i dibuatnya. the wedding dias set up by them is built to look like as if we're on stage and complete with 2 mini fans ok? See how thoughtful they are, sampai takut kiter kepanasan.
My Mum, the Cerewet Queen, was being the typical ngomel queen when they were initially preparing the void deck. But when finally she saw the whole transformation, she gave thumbs up to a good job well done. Susah tau nak get that frm mummy dearest! really!
Please take into consideration that my void deck has ALOT of bicycles. and they managed to covere them up subtlely.

To the orang-kuats who saw us thru the whole 2days event.

First and foremost: to beloved Kak Yatee.
Thank you ever so much for layan-ing my cerewet-ness, my ever so fickle minded-ness in choosing your ever sooo beautiful outfits.
kalau bole semua i nak pakai. haha! your patience is unwavering.that's all i can say.
U helped & gave opinions that made me even more beautiful with ur touch even tho i wasnt your project for the day.
Thank you soo much for even coming to Safra @ Tampines even tho u had to nurse ur sore eyes.
but still looking vogue-divas nonetheless.
through out our whole events planning, you were the picture of serenity.

Next in Line: The Ever so helpful Pak Andam: Abg Shukor.
Ok this guy is one rockin' dude! He helped make my husband lookin all sooooo berseri and segak and tampan dan sewaktu dengannya.
When Fatt's lips cracked up, i asked him to use lip balm. cos no colour kan? and also cos it helps to medicate the lips to prevent from further cracking. But Fatt degil, dier tak nak. But This fella, dunno wat prayers he did, managed to put on gloss for fatt! Gloss ok! haha.
Your services to make my hubby look good does not go unappreciated. really really thankful!

Last but not least, to my dearly beloved Mak Andam. Kak Nora Sahari.

Ok. Have you guys seen my before and after pic? do you know how diff i look like?
the amazing transformation, along with our alot-of-time-in-our-hand, she managed to made me up so beautiful and still got time to put glitters here and there.
my ever so punctual mak andam is the best ok? Since i am very the emotional, no thanks to the 'red-light district', she would countlessly remind me to relax, take a deep breath. Best part? "nak lawar tak? takmo nangis, relax.."

only she managed to get away by setting me up with middle parting hair ok? tak pernah2 i setting rambut centre parting. and she made me look different but good reviews by all. they said i managed to pull off that 'Classic look' perfectly. Advise to all, give the trust to your mak andams, cos they noe better. which look would look good on hyou. besides, you get maried only once kan? (hopefully) so ty to be as diff than usual ok?

hehe..

She guided me through out the whole 2days event. where to sit, adjusting the sanggul la, the veil la, sembunyi-kan i blakang that big white furry fan. seriously, she is highly recommended. She has this air of calmness emitting from within, and with her touch, i feel & look beautiful. Thank you sooo sooo much my beloved Kak Nora.

My experience with Ratu Wedding was an unforgettable moment.
Their close knit family and their neverending brain-storming for better ideas and their whole expansion package is one that truly should not be missed.

The Heartbreaker.

Erfan's sick again.
He was warded last Sun @ KKH due to initial inspection as Lung Infections..
He was lookin & feelin even worse than the last time that he was warded.
Shallow breathing, pale face and feelin a lil bit thinner now
Docs said that upon further checking thru x-rays & CT Scans, found that one of his lungs is filled with liquid.
It's bad enuff that he hadda be poked for te IV drip, he's got tubes running @ his nose, thumb, etc..

Now to expedite his recovery, doc suggested for a mini operation
this is for a tube to be inserted just underneath his right armpit so that the liquid and the phelgm would have access to go out,
to ease his breathing. or smtg like that.

so anyways, the mini op was done and he looks worse..
sometimes cant bear to look ok?
cos sedih like nobody's biz and the tears just keep running down, hand-i-hand with my running nose.

But that was 2 days ago..
wen we went to visit him yesterday, he was feelin better, albeit with tubes still hangin out frm him,
he was already talking alil bit, laffin alil bit and that made all of us feel much much betta..
kept saying that he doesnt want h2o, but wants coke.
haha!

Our lil Erfan's a strong boy.

ok ok..
i know i have not been updating anything at all for the past few weeks
but seriously, life has taken a toll ok?
too much work & planning for stuffs, but too little time la..

let's recap abit shall we?

watever that's popped up in my pretty lil head now, i shall just pen in.
keep in mind that it's the wee hours of the bloody morning eh.

(1) Happy happy Mother's day!!! -
LoVe & i bought a back massager for Mum & MIL.
happy to report that they love it. and am enjoy them to the fullest..
yeay!

(2) sadly, we did not get the house that we had prayed & wished for.
dun ask why. too disappointed to tell you anyways

(3) Went to Batam at 9am in the morning. i just came back frm nite shift.
so just imagine.
not sleeping the whole nite + go to batam straight after = Dylla super sleepy.
not kidding..
was supposed to find sum stuff there.
in d midst of all d planning, i was headbanging ok?
i only managed to get some shut-eye in d ferry otw back to SG.
best part? i was working nite shift again that nite.
so i had like 1 hr sleep which was supposed to last me the whole nite.
you think? haha. =p

(4) finally did the invits down to pat! yeay! i less thing to think abt.
Now on to the wedding favors. *Sigh*

(5)GF Lia is finally back in SG on the 18th May for a short getaway.
i like sooo miss her so much..
Yeay!

(6) went to Nite Safari for the 1st bloody time ever!
was fine, but the drawback was that we cant take pictures!
proper pictures i mean, NO flashes allowed. boring seyy.
fun cos the company that went along was all acquaintance.
finally we get to do smtg not related to work. At All. best kape.

(7)tryng to flip thru my mind's memories for anymore.
But there seem none. My brain is off duty ready la.

it's been what, 2 weeks since i last updated?

well things has been happening.
both good and sad.

good news is that LoVe & I may be getting a house by this year..

tragic accident which claims 2 souls, may they rest in peace.
their last journey was reported on all the newspapers yesterday.
i cant even begin to think the anguish their beloved must be feeling rite now.
my deepest condolences to both families involved.
our prayers are with you.

i finally made a new pair of specs for my ever so failing eyes!

been relying on my trusty blackie ones for so long that even when my eyesight was getting blurry,
i still brush them off as the lens being smudged.

after months & years of love nagging at me to stop MY nagging and just buy 1 pair of specs,
and after scouting around for the frames that suits me,

and after being in that special room to determine how high my degrees was,

i finally bought it.

this is definitely the first and hopefully the last time (for now) that i kinda splurge on a pair of specs.
much less any other items.

with the amount i paid, could've easily bought a Coach bag. and loads of clothes & stuffs online.

i know, i know..
am supposed to save the money for the big day
and i'm still psyche-ing myself that it was a good deal
and that it was more of a need for me, not just a want.
so ok la.

i'm extremely satisfies with the purchase ok?

the guy who manage to convince me to buy this pair was damn good too.

the past week has been kinda hectic for me..

work has unusually been hectic.

not forgetting tiring.

mentally & physically.

and after so long, my off days were spent @ hm, sleeping or at least trying to be a high class bum..

Well - Unwell.

well, the doc's appt last fri wasnt too bad..
aside frm the long wait, it was fine..
reached KKH @ 8am, went for the 1st appt - diagnostic imaging.

scared shitless for this one ok?
was having nitemares cos was sooo chickened out at the tot of them piercing the dreadfull iv drips on the back of my hand.
but in the end, i just hadda go for the ultrasound tests..
was scared shitless for nuthin..

den go queue up 2 meet my handsome doc lak..
that one... the wait was terrible.
the nurse made me run on a wild goose chase.
basket.
finally met up with my ob-gyn.
that handsome/cute doc of mine.
he says nuthin to werri.. it's all fine..
he said smtg like "there's some blocked fluids - but it's all normal."
so for now i'm good. i trust him la. but he did say itmay recur. so i need to constantly be on medical check up.
haiz..

for the past few days leading up to the medical check up, was not feelin well at all..
my throat shows signs of being scratchy bitchy.
den slowly my nose went running around leaking its pipe as they go.

that fri nite itself, i fell sick.
i guess i was so scared of the checkup that i fell sick..
stoopid la..
when night time falls, i wass feelin feverish like nobody's business.
my eyes was struggling to open but it just collapsed on me

the next day, the saturday, i was supp to work the 12pm-10pm shift.
but guess wat. i cant even get up..
my whole body felt like it was on pins and needles
force myself up, got ready and straightaway went to the docs.

luckily there was not much people ard..
so was entertained by the doc soon after.

when i told him of my symptoms, he asked
Doc: is there anyone in your family who has sinus?
Me: well, yeah.. my dad.. my uncle..
Doc: oh.. cos u have sinus.how lng u got the fever?
Me: abt 2 days ago.
Doc: Aiya u.. y wait so long then come find doctor? now u got the full blown flu ready.
Me: no la.. i tot just eat the meds at home den can ready..
Doc: aiya, u eat med, but u still have to push yourself outta bed and exerct pressure for work, how to rest ur sickness away.. U need plenty of plain h2o & bed rest ok?
Me: Ok doc.

So yeah.
moral of story - no point pushing urself so hard when u start 2 feel sick - it'll only make u feel even worse. just go to the doc.. see wat's his advice. scared the minor pain can be a major pain in the ass if u wait it out..

so yeah.
after docs went straight hm to eat and eat my medicine, which if i may add, was damn super..
it knocks me out so fast and let me really sleep the day away.. haha..
feelin so shiok to be bumming around for 2 days doin nuthin but watch tv, sleep and be like a slob..

Fish Spa Therapy

have any of you ever went for the fish spa thingy for your feet/legs?
yeah... i kinda did...
we went prawning the other day & just so happen that there was a fish spa therapy..
so we booked the 1/2hr slot which cost like $12..
but i tell u..
it was 1 major freak factor for me la..
i saw how the fishies attack once u dip in ur feet..

WoW!!
i didnt even dip my toe in for the 1st 10 mins la..
uptil i saw how pissed off love was (cos he paid for the session) so reluctantly i put my legs in a one time fast paced motion, thinking i probably wont feel a thing..

Ha!
I was so freakin' wrong la..
the fishies attack my legs like as if i have the juiciest shish kebab on sticks.. haha!
the initial feeling was like as if you placed your feet on a thousand volts of current..
but mini ones. like 'semut-semut' also got.. but the ticklish feeling i tell u... cannot angkat!!
and what we noticed was that, before i put in my legs, the fishes would be evenly distributed to all d legs. or in my case to love and my sis-in-law's legs.
but when i placed my legs in, all attack me, leaving them none..
so my legs kinda looks like as if i was wearing hairy booties or wat it may have looked like if i didnt shave.
haha..

and yeah, they said their money was wasted cos most of the fishes abandoned their legs for me.. hehe..
so yeah..
c'mere and looksee!

yeah.. so that's my shish kebab rite there.. my legs look like i wearing booties rite?

Singtel has been such a downer this past few months.

Anyway, they keep charging for channels under MIO plan which we did not subscribe.. So initially my mum called the billing enquiry number printed on the bill itself.. But dunno what happened, my mum lost her cool. She said that billing keep telling her to call MIO Service Line herself. She was pissed off cos she kept thinking why cant they just transfer the call to the other department..

Anyhoos, i then took over. i kept my patience and called MIO Service Line.
Guess wat? this time, they transferred my call. non stop okay.

They kept me on the line, pushing me frm MIO service line to Billing Service Line to MIO & back to billing. Camne la my mum tak frust..

so yeah.

managed to settle the damn situation much to my dad's content.

On another note, i slept late this morning watching my One Tree Hill marathon. but guess wat.. i woke up early la..

cos 'Adi was at my house and he was shrieking - apparently for no reason..

so yeah am up till now.

am so screwed tonite when i'm at work balls..

haha.
